Rules for Mississippi River development under review, moving toward final adoption

Earlier this month, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources held a series of three formal public hearings on the proposed Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area rules. The Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area is the name of a state-designated area is designed to protect the unique features of the Mississippi River corridor in the Twin Cities. The Critical Area shares the same boundaries with the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area - the National Park that fronts our Mississippi River.
